Lil Wayne is reportedly dropping new material off “Tha Carter V” in the near future.
Fans are itching for more new Weezy F. It looks like that won’t be too far off, as the Senior VP of Promotions over at Cash Money Records tweeted today that new material from Tha Carter V is on the way. Although Wayne threatened to retire after The Carter V last year, this September he said he’ll retire by the age of 35, which gives him four more years in the game.
Whether or not he’ll actually put down the mic remains to be seen. For now, keep your eye out for something new from the YMCMB rapper off the fifth installment in Tha Carter series.
