Mummy J as she is called in the Project Fame house is a Nigerian actress and director, married to an actor (our MCM for last week) and has two children. She was born in Lagos, attended Holy Child College also in Lagos. She attended the University of Lagos and majored in English language, after which she relocated to England and studied drama at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Silva has starred in over seventy Nolly Wood movies and many television series, some which include 30 Days, Letters to a Stranger, Widow’s Cot, Tango with me and many others
She has received several awards and nominations for her work as an actress including the awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2nd Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2006, and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008.
