Top Dawg Entertainment founder, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffithdecided to make sure that the children of LA got a chance to view the film.

TDE as a big player has brought to the music scene Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, and Ab-Soul. In collaboration with Interscope Records, they were able to send 1,000 kids from housing projects in LA to go see Black Panther on Saturday. Transportation to the theaters will also be provided by the L.A. Unified School District.

TDE produced the Black Panther movie soundtrack and Top Dawg spoke great things about their collaboration with Marvel Studios and Disney.

“Working on such a powerful movie is a great opportunity. We’re always working on new goals at TDE, so teaming up with Disney, Marvel Studios and the Black Panther film makes perfect sense.”

Black Panther has definitely been a major collaborative effort from the actors and directors to the artists, producers and record labels.
