During a recent performance in Sydney, Lil Wayne got tossed a water bottle and he let the audience know he wasn’t having none of that buffoonery.
“OK, so let me let you know,” he told the crowd, as shown in video shared by TMZ Tuesday. “Where I’m from, I think y’all know that’s the states, we don’t throw shit onstage because all my n****s got pistols and they don’t know who to shoot at.
So if you throw something else, I’m gonna be more safe and I’mma be the bigger person and just leave, because I don’t wanna kill everybody.”
This isn’t the first time Wayne has taken a stand against people tossing shit at the stage. Last year, Wayne reportedly cut an Idaho show short after someone threw their drink at him.
Also on Tuesday, a report surfaced claiming that Wayne and Cash Money co-founder Birdman have been working to settle their differences for months.
Their highly publicized hug at LIV, according to TMZ, arrived amid Wayne and Birdman’s ongoing efforts at separating business and family. “They’re family and that’s bigger than money,” a source said.
