NFF wish former Eagles goalie quick recovery
Former Nigeria goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, has been discharged from hospital after the one-time Super Eagles captain slumped late Monday night and was rushed to Toki Hospital, Surulere, Lagos.

Rufai who lost his 78-year-old mother last week was later revived by doctors who diagnosed fatigue and stress. He was discharged late Tuesday night.

Rufai’s brother, Bruce, informed Complete Sports from Ibadan that the goalkeeping legend is now at home observing bed rest and will not be part of the Milo Clinic, a pet project of the ex-Super Eagles captain where he trains young kids on the basic rudiments of the game, which will hold in Ibadan this weekend.

“Rufai has been discharged from the hospital. He is now at home observing bed rest according to doctor’s
instruction,” Bruce said.

“The Milo Clinic is his project but we will do it for him this time around. But even if he comes around, he won’t take active part in it.”

Rufai was said to have been badly devastated by the death of his mother last week.
