The family of Paris Jackson seeks for privacy as they handle the matters following the 15-year-old girl’s apparent suicide attempt. The request was delivered by Michael Jackson’s older sister, La Toya Jackson.

“We are grateful and appreciate the overwhelming concern for Paris from both the public and the media, but request privacy at this time while our family handles these issues together,” La Toya said, as quoted by E! News. Eric George, a lawyer of Paris’ mother Debbie Rowe, also released a similar statement, saying, “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family’s privacy.”
Paris Jackson was rushed to hospital in an ambulance on early Wednesday, June 5, at 1:27 A.M. She allegedly cut her wrists with a kitchen knife and there was a possibility of overdose. Following the hospitalization, Katherine Jackson’s lawyer Kevin Boyle stated that the teenager was “physically fine.”
The lawyer added, “Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.” A friend of Paris told the site, “I have spoken to the family and I have heard she is doing OK, she is resting.”
