After weeks of being mentored by House of Tara, photographer, Michael Imomoh, Ugo of Make Me Salon, Nobel Afrik and catwalk choreographer, Warebi Martha, Team Elan and Team Loud Tribe were ready to go head to head on the runway with their 12 piece collection.

The grand finale held at Oriental Hotel on the 5th of July, and guests were entertained with music by DJ Spinall as they took photos at the L’Original photo booth and exchanged Invitation cards for the Fayrouz currency, ‘Rouz’ at Bank L’Original. Rouz notes were used to purchase food, signature Fayrouz cocktails and also bid for designer clothes from celebrity judges, Kinabuti, Mai Atafo, April by Kunbi, Gozel Green and Orange Culture. Radio host, Toke Makinwa interviewed fashionable guests such as radio hosts Omalicha, Gbemi, Kaylah Oniwo, and actress, Beverly Naya at the live cam room.

The host, IK Osakioduwa introduced the show and R&B singer, Chidinma (Miss Kedike) opened the show with her hit track, ‘Kedike’. The two teams were called on stage and interviewed by IK and then the battle on the runway began.

At the end of it all, judges Caterina of Kinabuti, Mai Atafo, Kunbi Oyelesi of April of Kunbi had to decide which team would walk away with the $20,000 grand prize. Teams were judged based on creativity, originality and commercial viability. Team Elan had more points from the judges than Team Loud Tribe, making them winners of $20,000, and a chance to present their collection at the upcoming Lagos Fashion and Design week. Loud Tribe went home with a consolation prize of $4,000 for the entire team.

Other performers of the night were rapper, Phyno and R&B singer, Wande Coal. Both performers had the crowd dancing and singing along to some of their hit tracks.
