(PICZ) LG L60 Dual With Android 4.4.2 KitKat Launched

The LG L60 dual-SIM smartphone, which was seen listed on the company’s Russia website earlier this month, has now been launched in India by the company at Rs. 9,000 (MRP). It has been listed on the company’s India site as the LG L60 Dual.

Notably, the L60 (with X147 model name) was seen listed as available to buy earlier today on the Amazon India site, priced at Rs. 7,990.

The LG L60 Dual according to the company site is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It is powered by a dual-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 512MB of RAM. LG’s budget offering features a 4.3-inch TFT display.

It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and a 1540mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity options, the LG L60 features GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB connectivity options. The smartphone measures 66.3×124.15×11.8mm, weighs 119 grams and comes in Black and White colour variants.

It is worth noting that other variants of the LG L60 were also spotted earlier this month on Wi-Fi Alliance website. The variants spotted were LG-X132, LG-X145, LG-X135, LG-X137, LG-X130j, and LG-X147, and vary according to region and network carriers.

LG last week announced two new affordable smartphones – the L Fino and L Bello – targeted at the emerging 3G markets. The South Korean giant also announced that the new L series smartphones will be showcased at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin in early September.
