DAY 1 (Sunday, September 21st 2014): HEALTHWEEK AWARENESS PROGRAM / PHOTO SHOOT.

There will be an awareness program at the prestigious AGAH COMPLEX in the COLLEGE of MEDICINE, UNILAG.

There will also be a Photo shoot with well renowned photographer, Seyifunmi Pictures. Come adorned in your AMSUL Sweatshirts.

Time: 4pm

There will be free punch, and barbeque, popcorn, ice cream, candy floss at subsided rates.

Anchors: George and Glory.

 

DAY 2 (Monday, September 22nd 2014): PROF. O.F GIWA-OSAGIE INTER-COLLEGIATE QUIZ COMPETITON.

Medical students from schools like, UNILORIN, OAU,UNN,UI, LAUTECH, LASU and others will be competing  against UNILAG’s best, Chosen AMSULITES in a Quiz Competition.

Venue: New Great Hall.

Time: 10am.

In the evening, there would be a NOVELTY MATCH between AMSUL’s best and the UI team and also a FEMALE FOOTBALL MATCH between Basic Medical Science Girls and Clinical Science Girls.

Venue:  School of Nursing (SON) football Pitch

Time: 4pm

 

DAY 3 (Tuesday, September 23rd 2014): ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM/ SCIENTIC CONFRENCE/ LAUNCH OF AMSUL DIGEST

Theme: HEALTH RELATED MILLENIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS. The Journey so far..

Speaker: DR JIDE IDRIS, Hon Commissioner For Health, Lagos State.

Sub Theme I: UNDERGRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION IN NIGERIA. The Past, the Present, the Future.

Speaker: PROF. C.A.N OKOROMAH, Dir Medical Education and Head Cardiology and Infectious Diseases Unit, Pediatrics Department. LUTH.

Sub Theme II: EBOLA VIRUS DISEASE: Facts, fallacies and the way forward.

Speaker:  PROF. A.T ONAJOLE, H.O.D Community Health and Primary Care Dept, CMUL. Chairman National Mobilization Committee, Ebola Awareness Program.

Chief Hosts: PROF. F.T OGUNSOLA – PROVOST CMUL

DAY 4 (Wednesday, September 24th 2014): CAPACITY BUILDING and SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAM / FILM SHOW

There will be a Capacity Building and Skill acquisition Program which will involve 4 simultaneous sessions. They include, Presentation Skills which is very key for a medical student, Makeovers, Photography and Videography. Open Access Nigeria will also be present to enlighten us on the benefits of medical research. There will also be Isabelle Dupont  (Makeup) Retailers who will be on sale.

Venue: New Great Hall

Time: 10am

Later that evening, there would be FILM SHOW at the same venue. There would be popcorn and punch. It promises to be exciting.

 

DAY 5 (Thursday, September 25th 2014): VARIETY NIGHT and MISS COTOZOAL COMPETITION.

There would games and other events, and Loads of prizes to be won, followed immediately by a beauty pageant ‘MISS COTOZOAL’ which features our beautiful AMSULITES.

Prizes for all the contestants, everyone goes home a winner.

VENUE: New Great Hall

Time: 7pm

Performances: Peter Clarke, the’Amaka’ Crooner, Babs the football Juggler, and so much more.

Anchor: MC McDay and FemiFits.

 

DAY 6 (Friday, September 26th 2014): PHILANTROPIC VISIT

Venue: Down Syndrome Foundation, Lawanson.

Time: 3pm.

 

DAY 7 (Saturday, September 27th 2014): EBOLA AWARENESS AND CAMPAIGN PLUS HEALTH OUTREACH.
