The Nigerian Red Cross Society – Lagos Branch has been at the forefront of responding to man-made and natural disasters, including bomb blasts, floods and more recently, the Ebola virus.
To enable the Nigerian Red Cross Society- Lagos Branch provide its important services proactively and professionally, the Society has created a Disaster Relief Trust as an avenue to develop broad based partnerships that will support the work of the Red Cross.
The Trust has embarked on a campaign titled “Let’s do it Together” – which is a clarion call for people to become part of preventing, mitigating and responding to disasters.
Supporting this initiative are renowned actors, Femi Jacobs, Gideon Okeke and Linda Ejiofor, as well as corporate organisations and private individuals.
