After months of multiple club hops, international performances, official song release, the invite-only Hennessy Artistry finale was a rich mix of nostalgic classics and the celebration of the ‘new school’.
Produced and directed by Sound Sultan & Baba Dee, the guest experience on December 6th at Landmark Event Centre venue started long before the first act emerged on stage.
Upon arrival, guests were guided through the Artistry ‘Tunnel of Fame’, leading guests onto a beachside cocktail area where trademark recipes were served alongside delicate canapés.
The auditorium was beautifully decked out with plush white lounge sofas, mute lighting, a rotating bar and a Selfie Artistry photo booth.
EME’s Shaydee kicked off the show with a pulsating performance, which ushered in uninterrupted performances from other supporting acts, Yung GreyC, Yung L, Endia, Orezi, Runtown, Reminisce and Lil Kesh.
Baba Fryo, Mad Mellon, Mountain Black, Ruggedman, Azadus, Blackky, Jazzman Olofin, Olu Maintain and Styl Plus took everyone on a trip down memory lane and kept guests on their feet.
Hennessy Artistry 2014 headliner, Wizkid shortly after took to the stage with electrifying performances of In my Bed, Caro, Ojuelegba, Ginger and more.
2Face took over soon after, taking the audience on a journey through his hits dating back to his first solo album. Then he sent the hall into a frenzy when he called out his former group, Plantashun Boyz to perform with him.
Hennessy Artistry 2014 made it’s mark as the first ever Artistry project to leave the shores of Nigeria with an exciting music concert in Ghana and club tour in South Africa.
