Ariyike Akinbobola Pays Courtesy Visit To The United Nations Office In Lagos

Humanitarian / Nigerian TV Personality turned published author, Ariyike Akinbobola recently paid a courtesy visit to the United Nations Information Centre, Lagos, Nigeria to discuss possible collaborations and to donate a few copies of her novella – ‘THE COST OF OUR LIVES’ to the United Nations Library.

Ariyike and her team were hosted by Mr. Oluseyi Soremekun and other members of staff of the United Nations. In her speech, she spoke about the importance of education and how she plans to continue to enlighten people in rural areas to allow their children go to school. Through her book, she also plans to spread the word about creating awareness for child abuse, rape, cyberbullying and the importance of education with the girl child education as one of her top priorities.
Ariyike who is also the organiser of the annual charity festival is set to hold a book reading event where some top celebrities and social entrepreneurs will be reading out chapters from ‘THE COST OF OUR LIVES’. This event will hold next month.
