Industry Nite witnessed the biggest turnout this year. The headliner was none other than the event’s resident Disc Jockey, DJ Spinall who recently bagged an endorsement deal with Smirnoff Ice.
Loads of celebrities were around to celebrate the DJ who has risen to the top of the music industry within the last five years.
Artistes who were around to support THECAP as he is fondly called were Saeon, Lil Kesh, Simi, Adekunle Gold, Milli, Koker, Ice Prince, M.I, Grip Boyz, Iyanya, Sean Tizzle, Sound Sultan, 2face, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Chidinma, Black Magic, Tekno, Selebobo, and others.
Of course, Jimmie who is a close friend of Spinall, was the host of the show. Early into the morning the new Choc Boys Koker and Milli performed. They were followed by the fast rising YBNL rapper Lil Kesh who performed his hit song ‘Gbese’. After his performance DJ Spinall came on stage and gave a speech, thanking all those who have supported him over the years.
Burna Boy got the crowd pumped when he performed ‘Soke’, ‘Gba ba e’ his collaboration with DJ Spinall and ‘A Mo Ra Wa’ his collabo with Wande Coal. After his ‘thank you’ speech, DJ Spinall got on the decks, and got the whole of Spice Route turned up. Triple MG act Iyanya was next as he sang ‘Oreo’.
M.I and Ice Prince had the best performance of the night as they performed their recent hits and brought Grip Boyz, Koker and Milli on stage. They lit the whole stage with their energetic performances.
Next up Sean Tizzle performed in honour of DJ Spinall. The legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt also got on stage and performed his classic 2007 single ‘Stylee’.
