Young man who made an attempt on Donald Trump’s life pleads not-guilty to charges


Michael Sandford, 20, who allegedly tried to snatch a weapon during a rally at Treasure Island casino in Las Vegas on June 18, to kill Trump has pleaded not guilty.

Sandford appeared at a federal court in Las Vegas wearing leg irons and a yellow prison uniform, pleading not guilty to a charge of disrupting government business and official functions and two charges of being an illegal alien in possession of a gun. He was again remanded in custody after the court hearing and is due to stand trial on August 22.
