What a day! Even the rain couldn’t stop the fun
The first ever Jack Daniels Brothers of the Grill Festival Music and BBQ Festival held on Saturday 9th July, 2016 to a great reception of food lovers and friends of Jack. The one day experience projected the full essence of outdoor fun to the theming audience and well as grill enthusiasts.
DJs Big N and Switch kicked off the show with expectional mixes while Ben Foster did a great job stirring the crowd’s excitement. Memorable performances from Reekado Banks, 9ice, Runtown, Cynthia Morgan, Timaya, Terry Apala kept the momentum going all night. Perhaps the most electrifying moment of the night was when the crowd requested for an encore from Afrobeat band – The Compozerswho worked the guests to frenzy after their 30 minutes long set.
Foodies were not left out as vendors Grind Grill, BLD by Play, Grasshoppers Place, Smokey Bones BBQ, Naija Pitboys BBQ churned out mouthwatering grilled options from Steak to Ribs to Prawns to Pork chops and more with unlimited supply of Jack Daniel’s cocktails fromQuilox NiteClub
In addition to the games available and to the delight of the audience who tasted and voted; the Brothers of the Grill MasterGriller Regional competition took place with Michelle Obiano winning the cash prize of $3000.
