Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by five men dressed as police officers who attacked her Paris apartment.
The 35-year-old reality star reportedly had nearly £9million worth of jewellery stolen by the gang of masked attackers in the early hours of today.
Her spokeswoman said she ‘is badly shaken but physically unharmed’.
Kim’s superstar husband, Kanye West, was performing a gig almost 6,000 miles away in Queens, New York, at the time of the robbery.
He abruptly walked off stage after telling the audience he had a family emergency.
“I’m sorry, family emergency I have to stop the show, ” he told fans at the Meadows Festival:
Kim is believed to have been targeted by the robbers at around 3am local time (2am UK time) at a ‘luxury residence’ in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
The apartment lies on Rue Tronchet, and is close to La Madeleine church. Kim previously stayed there with her family in 2014, shortly before her wedding.
The five men are said to have entered the building through a service entrance, before handcuffing a night guard and entering Kim’s room.
They then ‘tied up’ the reality star in the bathroom, before stealing millions of dollars worth of her jewellery, including a €4million (£3.5million) ring.
They also stole a jewellery box with five to six million euros (£4.3-£5.2million) worth of jewels and two mobile phones, according to BFM TV and Reuters.
The value of the damage is estimated to be a whopping €10million (£8.7million).
According to local reports, the men “threatened” the porter before making their way to Kim’s private apartment, and holding her at gun-point.
Local reports claim they held a gun to the star’s head, before locking her in the bathroom, and escaping again.
Kim, who has been in the French capital for fashion week, was rescued after the men dressed in ski masks and ‘police’ jackets fled the scene.
It’s now claimed they fled the scene on bicycles.
Her two children Saint, nine months, and North, three years, are not thought to have been in the room at the time of the shocking incident.
