Hollywood actor, Robert De Niro recorded a scathing attack on the Republican presidential candidate
Robert De Niro says he wants to “punch Donald Trump in the face”.
The Hollywood actor recorded a scathing video attack on the Republican presidential candidate, branding him a “pig”, a “dog” and “stupid”.
Not holding back, De Niro ranted: “Trump is so blatantly stupid. He’s a punk. He’s a dog. He’s a con, a b******t artist who doesn’t know what he is talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming his society (and) doesn’t pay his taxes.
The #VoteYourFuture video was recorded as part of a campaign to encourage people to vote, and was intended to be ‘non-partisan’ – but the Oscar-winning star certainly didn’t mince his words.
When asked “What do you care about?”, De Niro replied: “[Trump] is a national disaster. He’s an embarrassment to this country.
“He talks how he’d like to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”
The video was recorded before Trump apologised after a tape emerged of him making lewd remarks and boasting about groping women.
In the clip, filmed in 2005 as Trump chatted with former Access Hollywood presenter Billy Bush, he can be heard claiming he ‘moved’ on an unnamed woman, but she rejected him.
