The long awaited #OneVoiceNigeria protest has kicked off in Lagos and Abuja.
The planned protest was threatened after the Nigeria’s hip-hop artist Innocent ‘TuFace’ Idibia backed out for security reason.
Through his official Instagram page, TuFace who had earlier championed the protest said, he decided to cancel to the protest after due consultations.
However, perturbed by the hip-hop star’s announcement Nigerians in Lagos, Abuja and other parts of the country insisted the protest must continue.
They took to to the streets to demand good governance and leadership in Nigeria.
Among Nigerians who are protesting include: the former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu; a Peoples Democratic Party member, Deji Adeyanju, a member of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group Aisha Yesufu.
Also, singer and Television personality Charles ‘Charly Boy’ Oputa has promised to join the #OneVoiceNigeria march.
