South Africans ransack H&M stores over ‘racist’ hoodie advert

Just when we thought the anger over an image of a black child modelling a sweatshirt with the slogan “Coolest monkey in the jungle” has died down, members of a youth-oriented political movement stormed and vandalized H&M stores across South Africa this morning in protest of the ”racist” H&M advert.

Protesters from the left-wing Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) group targeted six shops in Gauteng province, police said.
