An online platform, findadmission.com, has been created to proffer solutions to hassles usually faced by Nigerians seeking academic admission into foreign schools.

Findadmission.com

The Founder, Worldview International, Mr. Folabi Obembe, who is the creator of findadmission.com, said at a press conference in Lagos that there were over 500 foreign universities and other academic institutions connected to the portal and over 17,000 student applicants already using the platform.

He added that platform had simplified admission opportunities abroad for potential applicants and was free for students.

Obembe said the firm had started operations in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and Ivory Coast and students would be able to apply to universities in the United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Malaysia, Turkey, Spain, Austria, Canada, among others, through its platform.

According to him, the decision to study abroad starts from which continent and culture to consider, course of study, housing and tuition budget as well as the headache of knowing which institution offers your proposed course and whether you may be eligible for admission or not.

“Also, if you submit a complete application form, at times, it may seem like you are spending your valuable time researching, applying to institutions only to later find out that you didn’t meet their basic requirements.

“That ’s where findadmission.com comes in. At findadmission.com, our culture team is made up of former international students who have a similar experience and who are ready to solve that problem for prospective applicants,” Obembe said.
With findadmission.com, he said, “We eliminate the guesswork that comes with trying to figure out which location or institution offers the course you intend to study.”

On the support offered to student applicants in getting their visa with respect to Canada visa, a visa counsellor for Canada, Karen Terez, who works with findadmission.com, said students willing to come to Canada to study would need to fulfil certain requirements to make their journey to that country a reality.
