Host country Morocco thrashed Nigeria 4-0 in the final played on Sunday in Casabalanca, to win the competition for the first time.
Morocco’s Zakaria Hadraf scored the first goal of the game in the 45th minute.
Nigeria’s Peter Eneji Moses received a second yellow card, and was sent off in the 48th minute.
Walid El Karti scored another goal for Morocco in the 61st minutes, and this was followed by another quick goal by Zakaria Hadraf in the 64th minutes, just 3 minutes after the second goal.
Ayoub El Kaabi of Morocco sealed their victory with a 73rd minute goal, which saw their team win the African Nations Championship 2018.
