Nicki Minaj is single, she is not pregnant nor is she in hiding. The Pink Friday rapper is reportedly aggressively committed to studio time and working on perfecting her next album.
According to TMZ, Minaj made the decision to take a break from social media at the end on 2017 to throw complete focus on her music, which explains why her last post on social media was a selfie in what appears to be in a studio on Dec. 30 of 2017.
She apparently finds herself to be more creative without the unwanted interruptions that come with social media.
Minaj has reportedly been in the studio around the clock with top rappers and producers in the likes of Lil Wayne, Mack Maine, and several Young Money artists, and she is not coming back to social media until the album is done. Most of the tracks are done and the album is expected to drop later this year, TMZ reports.
Nicki Minaj fans have expressed their concerns about the whereabouts of their beloved Queen Barb, especially during the time of her reported “break up” with Nas and retailer H&M’s controversial ‘Coolest Monkey’ ad due to her partnership with the brand. The Queens rapper has since been silent, but will she address both of the aforementioned concerns in her new album? Strategic silence perhaps?
