Birdman was full of high praises for YMCMB signee, Nicki Minaj in a recent interview with Rap Up.
According to Birdman, Nicki broke down doors in order to become one of the most popular names in hip hop.
“I always say she’s the best ever, best female ever in hip-hop, hands down, facts. There’s no getting around it,” he stated.
Stating further, he said
“There’s levels to this shit. Very much levels to this shit. She’s an elite. Sometimes, you can put Nicki in a room with males on a rap, but if you put her on females, it’s nothing. She’s a monster in her own race.”
He also alluded to Nicki’s social media absence, commenting that “she’s working and she’s focused.”
An album was last heard from Nicki Minaj when she dropped 2014’s The Pinkprint.
During the interview, Birdman also plugged his upcoming documentary with Apple Music, as well as guaranteeing that Lil Wayne ‘s Tha Carter V is on its way this year as well.
