Several weeks ago, the 33-year-old self-acclaimed ladies’ man was accused of hitting a woman in the face while they were attending a party during NBA All-Star Weekend.

According to Page Six, the accuser’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, asked a judge to grant her client a restraining order against Songz. The lawyer claims the unidentified woman is scared of the artist, and fears she may run into him at one of the L.A. nightclubs she works at.

“We are taking this step today to protect my client’s right to peacefully live and work, and we will continue to fully cooperate with law enforcement’s investigation of this serious matter,” Bloom said. “We are asking just one of them with a conscience to reach out to us and tell us what they saw.”

Shawn Holley, Songz’s attorney, told Page Six the singer has not had any interaction with the woman since All-Star Weekend when the assault was alleged to have taken place; however, several sources told TMZ that the alleged victim has reached out to friends of Trey, but has not received any response.

Songz has faced a number of legal issues within the past year. In August of 2017, he pleaded guilty to a couple of misdemeanors after he was filmed destroying stage equipment during a performance in Detroit.

Several months later, Songz was slapped with a lawsuit that alleged he had slapped a fan at a Philadelphia strip club. And, in 2012, the Tremaine singer was
arrested for assaulting a 36-year-old woman at another strip club in Queens.
