Full administrative activities are set to commence in the nation’s public universities as the non-academic unions of universities, which began an industrial strike since December 4, 2017, has suspended its strike.
Announcing the suspension of the strike at a press conference in Abuja, Samson Ugwoke, the National Chairman of the Joint Action Committee of the three unions involved in the action said members will resume work on Thursday, March 15.
The JAC comprises of the National Association of Academic Technologists, the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities.
