Prince Harry has refused to sign a pre-nup ahead of his marriage to Meghan Markle. He was reportedly under pressure to sign one by courtiers determined to safeguard his fortune, thought be around £30 million.
A source told the Mail Online: ‘I hear that Harry has rejected signing a prenuptial agreement to safeguard his estimated £30 million fortune.
‘There was never any question in Harry’s mind that he would sign a prenup,’ one of his friends tells me. ‘He’s determined that his marriage will be a lasting one, so there’s no need for him to sign anything.’
Meghan, 36, who has an estimated £4 million fortune, divorced her first husband Trevor Engelson after two years. Harry is thought to have around £20 million in assets and received a £10 million inheritance from his mother Princess Diana.
The couple are set to marry on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
