Nicholas Cage has revealed his future plans in the movie industry and it involves less acting.
In a video posted by The Blast , the actor revealed that he was “getting back in production” and that his company, Saturn Films, is involved in all of his movies going forward.
“Directing is something I look forward to down the road,” the actor said. “Right now, I’m primarily a film performer and I’m gonna continue doing that for three or four more years and I’d like to focus more on directing.”
The only film Cage has directed to date is Sonny, a widely panned offbeat drama released back in 2002. It starred James Franco and revolved around the story of a solider who returned home and tried to break away from his life as a “trained prostitute.”
