“Infared,” the closing track of Pusha-T’s new album DAYTONA targets Drake’s songwriting skills with the line, “It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin,” referring to Drake’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller. The controversy was first sparked by Meek Mill when he called Drake out in 2015.

On Twitter, Minaj wrote, “Niggaz gon run that Quentin shit in the fkn ground like Drake don’t write 4 himself & OTHERS! Ya enemies will remix, reinvent & TRY 2make u RELIVE some old shit for YEARS 2 come when they have NOTHING ON U! Knock it off. Challenging the chosen ones only awakens the sleeping giant.”

The Pusha-T/Drake beef has been at the center of attention over the past few days. Minaj had Drake’s back, but he also defended his own honor by releasing the diss track, ” Duppy Freestyle .” The track closed with, “It’s gonna be a cruel summer for you/I told Weezy and Baby ‘I’ma done him for you’/Tell ‘Ye we gotta invoice coming to you/Considering that we just sold another 20 for you?” Pusha asked Drake on Twitter to send him an invoice “for the extra 20,” and Drake apparently actually sent one that listed a $100K fee for “Promotional assistance and career reviving.”
