A Missouri woman identified as Rena Houston has claimed she is late American singer Whitney Houston’s secret daughter.
The 36-year-old said the late singer, during her teens gave birth to her in 1981 but she was placed in a St. Louis foster home to avoid wrecking the budding superstar’s career.
She claimed Houston telephoned her in 2010 and then visited her with daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.
“Whitney came down the street where I lived in a big car, she pulled up and we started talking. She said she was my biological mother, and she wanted to be involved with me,” she said.
Meanwhile, a Houston family source said: “The family is clueless as to who this woman is or how she can possibly back up her claims.”
