Asking for help from celebrities, he added, “I don’t care if you didn’t know him he is part of the hip hop / rock community.” Uzi also said that the foundation would help “young entertainers” that die from gun violence.

Over the weekend, X’s mother announced that his team had set up a foundation on the website xxxtentacion.com to fulfill the rapper’s final wish. All donations for that foundation will go to various charities.

Hours before his death, X had written a message on his Instagram story that he was planning an event for local charity.

In the week after his death, XXXTentacion’s song “SAD!” reentered the charts, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The occasion marks his first No. 1 song after the track had previously peaked at the No. 7 spot on the chart.

A public memorial service will take place on June 27 from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Florida Panther’s Stadium in Sunrise, Florida. X’s attorney told People that the memorial service will include an open-casket viewing.
