Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, Ambassador Queen Worlu has died at her duty post on Monday, 9th July.
President Buhari has commiserated with the family over her death and ordered that her remains be brought back into the country.
Queen Imaria Worlu joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in 1987. She served in various capacities in the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs before she was appointed as an ambassador by the Buhari administration.
She was also posted to Nigeria’s High Commission New Delhi-India in 2014 in the capacity of Minister (Trade and Investment). She became Deputy High Commissioner and on several occasions performed the duties of the High Commissioner to India at different periods in 2014 and 2015.
