INEC Announces Kayode Fayemi As Winnner Of Ekiti Governorship Election

Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressive Party, APC has been declared by INEC as winner of the Ekiti state governorship election after having the highest votes.

He won the election which held on Saturday, July 14, in 12 out of the 16 local governments in the state defeating his closest rival and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prof Kolapo Olusola.

He pulled a total of 197,459 while the PDP candidate and deputy governor of the state, Professor Kolapo Olusola, pulled a total of 178,121 votes.
