I haven’t Been Listed For The MTV VMA’s Video Vanguard Award ~ Missy Elliott

Despite rumours of it being Christina Aguilera to receive the 2018 MTV VMA’s Video Vanguard Award even more reports suggested it could be Missy Elliott.

Her video work over the years has without a doubt set a precedent for creativity and thinking outside of the box that has surely inspired more than a handful of acts to this date.

As much as fans would love to see Missy be blessed with the honour, unfortunately, she won’t be the woman to get the prize.

“I’m seeing a lot of outlets reporting that I’m receiving the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award I wanted to clear it up that I haven’t been listed.

I am still humbled by the love yall have shown,” she tweeted.
