Rick Genest, AKA Zombie boy, a model who was known for his head-to-toe tattoos and who appeared in the music video for the 2011 Lady Gaga song “Born This Way,” has died. He was 32.
Dulcedo Management, his agency, confirmed his death on its Facebook page on Thursday but did not say where or precisely when he died. Mr. Genest lived in Montreal.
On her Twitter account, Lady Gaga said the cause of death was suicide, and that it was “beyond devastating.”
“We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can’t talk about it,” she added.

Mr. Genest, who was better known as Zombie Boy or Rico, was born on Aug. 7, 1985, in a small town in Quebec. He said he had grown up fascinated by freak shows and tattoos.
