Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has said that he ‘does not know’ how much longer first-choice goalkeeper,Thibaut Courtois will remain at the club following heavy links with a move to Real Madrid.
Madrid are reportedly determined to sign the Belgian international before the end of the transfer window.
Courtois has refused to play down talk of a move away from Stamford Bridge, and has also previously suggested that he could be lured to the Spanish capital as it is where his children live.
Speaking at Friday’s press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Community Shield clash with Manchester City this weekend, admitted that the future of Courtois’s at the West London club depends on him.
“At the moment Courtois is the goalkeeper at Chelsea,” Sarri said.
“I don’t know in the future. It depends on the club, it depends especially on him but I hope Courtois will be our goalkeeper.”
