Travis Scott’s “Astroworld” Eligible For Gold Certification

Chartdata reports that Travis Scott’s Astroworld has already gone gold.

It’s an impressive feat for Scott and clearly shows that Astroworld isn’t just one of his strongest projects to date critically but also one of his most commercially appealing projects that he’s released in his career.

Although going gold within a few days is certainly an accomplishment, Chartdata notes that the eligibility is mainly due to the success of “Butterfly Effect.”

They explained that the song already racked up 2 million units certified by the RIAA and because 10 track units are the equivalent of one album sales, the album has already raked up over 200K units.

However, those numbers won’t be included in the official first week sales.
