A mother Tatiana Degirmendzhy, 49, hacked her daughter Yulia, 18, to death while she was asleep after claiming she argue too much.
The shocking incident occurred at their home in the city of Chaykovsky in central Russia’s Perm Krai region.
Tatiana reportedly hit her several times with the axe before she died from blood loss following cuts to the carotid artery in her neck.
She then fled the scene and went to a railway station before jumping on the first train heading out of the city, local media said.
Yulia was discovered several hours later by her older brother Sertan, 22, when he returned home. He said he found Yulia lying motionless on the bed in her room covered in blood with spatter all over the bed and walls.
