Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo have been named on the shortlist for the 2018 Ballon d’Or.
The Tottenham striker captained England to their first World Cup semi-final in 28 years in Russia this summer.
He is joined by the holder and five-time winner Ronaldo, who is included after facing an allegation of rape by a woman he met in Las Vegas in 2009, which the Juventus striker denies.
The full 30-player shortlist has been announced after the names were released in groups of five throughout the day.
The awards ceremony will take place in Paris on 3 December.
Kane, the only English player to have been shortlisted, is joined by 10 other footballers who compete in the Premier League.
They include Liverpool’s Mo Salah, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.

The Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has also made the shortlist.
He will go up against Ronaldo’s former Real Madrid team-mate Gareth Bale, and the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.
The honour is separate from FIFA’s own world player of the year award, which was won by the Real Madrid’s Luka Modric.

The Croatian midfielder has also made the Ballon d’Or nominations alongside the Brazilian star Neymar.
The shortlist is compiled by the editorial office of France Football, and the winner is then picked from the list by a panel of international journalists, with one representative per country.
England’s Lucy Bronze and Fran Kirby are among the nominees for the inaugural Women’s Ballon d’Or award.
Bronze was part of the Lyon side that won last season’s Champions League, while Kirby won a Super League and FA Cup double with Chelsea.
