With the new deal, 50 Cent will develop new scripted and unscripted projects exclusively for the television network through G-Unit Films & Television Inc.

The deal includes an increased investment into “Power” where Fif serves as an executive producer.

Additionally, Fif’s new deal also includes a three-series commitment along with a dedicated development executive and a discretionary fund for G-Unit projects.

“When I sat down with Chris [Albrecht, Starz CEO] and walked him through my plans for G-Unit Film & Television going forward, he let me know I was essentially requesting the biggest deal in premium cable history,” Fif said of the new deal.

“I am excited to announce that we’ve made that partnership between myself, G-Unit Film & Television and Starz/Lionsgate and we will continue our proven track record of breaking records and delivering unique content for audiences around the world … Get The Strap.”

50 cents and Starz are already plotting on two new projects in development, “Black Mafia Family” and “Vanguard.” Keep your eyes peeled for that.
