Met Gala 2019: Stars Redefine The Camp On The Red Carpet (See Photos)

The 71st annual Met Ball, themed Camp: Notes on Fashion after a 1964 essay by Susan Sontag, begins at at New York’s Costume Institute. A-listers (and their stylists) were encouraged to how explore ‘how elements of irony, humor, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality and exaggeration are expressed in fashion’. The event raises money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
