Naira Marley’s management has released an official statement via the singer’s Instagram page, stating that he is still in custody and will be released tomorrow.
According to Naira Marley’s management statement, his N2 Million bail needs to be perfected before his release.
“To all Marlians, Naira Marley will b out tomorrow. We just need to perfect his bail. thanks management.” the statement reads.
Singer Naira Marley who appeared in court today in regards to charges from EFCC. After a motion for bail was presented before the court today, two conditions were given as the request got granted.
Naira Marley must provide Two Million Naira (2,000,000) bond, and two sureties, one with a landed property and the other, a Civil Servant, not lower than a level 10 officer. The judge also directed EFCC to verify the bail terms.
Weeks ago Naira Marley was arrested alongside Zlatan Ibile, Rahman Jago, Guccy Branch and another unknown person. The others were released shortly after while the singer was left behind in custody.
