Nativeland 2019 concert didn’t end well as VIP stage falls, many reportedly injured

One of Nigeria’s biggest music festival, The Nativeland concert was held yesterday, Thursday, 19th December 2019 at the Muri Okinola park, Lagos which had top-notch artistes from Nigeria and abroad.

The show didn’t end well as many went home seriously injured.

According to pictures and videos that were posted online by eyewitnesses, it was reported that the VIP stage “scattered” while Fireboy was performing.

The incident led to a stampede which caused many to go home with various degrees of injuries.

Also, a video has been circulating the internet where some security operatives were seen beating up a man while people were struggling to exit the venue.
