“My 98-year-old husband’s father is still alive but the Nigerian Army has refused to pay him 2 years pension” – Lady cries out

A lady has called out the Nigerian Army that her 98-year-old father-in-law is still alive and he is yet to receive his 2 years pension.

After a tweet was made via the Official Twitter account of the Nigerian Army on the death of the oldest surviving Nigerian soldier few hours ago, a lady with the handle @ug_luxuryhairs replied the tweet, saying, her father’s husband who is 98 years old and very much alive was also a soldier but he has not been paid his 2 years pension.

She added that, despite taking him from his home town down to Abuja with a proof of his military documents, still, he was refused payment.

She tweeted:

“My Husbands father is 98years old. He is still alive and the Nigerian Military has not paid him 2years pension. He has all his Military documents. He has been refused payment even when he traveled from his home State to Abuja for his pension. Nigerian Army should be do something!”
