Dubai Police has extradited Raymond Igbalode Abbas, who is popularly known as “Hushpuppi” and Woodberry, to the United States where he will be grilled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Arrested on June 10, 2020 in Dubai through a special operation code-named ‘Fox Hunt 2’, Hushpuppi and his gang have been slapped with multiple fraud charges for crimes committed in different parts of the world.
“Recently, the Dubai Police has arrested the two wanted fraudsters, “Hushpuppi” and “Woodberry” along with ten African cybercriminals in a special operation dubbed “Fox Hunt 2.
“The operation took down the suspects for committing crimes outside the UAE, including money-laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, criminal impersonating, scamming individuals, banking fraud and identity theft.”
Hushpuppi and his gang allegedly committed fraud to the tune of 1.6 billion dirham (N168bn).
Hushpuppi is also wanted back home in Nigeria by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
