Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has said although he has no intention of driving Comrade Adams Oshiomhole out of the town, but he will show him no mercy if he continues to unleash his lions in the state.
Obaseki had threatened during the governorship campaign that he would drive out Oshiomhole out of the state if he was re-elected.
Speaking on The Morning Show of ARISE TV, the re-elected governor while responding to a question on his threat during his campaign said:
“I have no intention to drive Oshiomhole from Edo, but if he continues to unleash his lions, we will have no mercy.”
The governor ran under the Peoples Democratic Party and defeated his main challenger, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress who was backed by Oshiomhole, the governor’s estranged godfather.
