Selena Gomez has said she is not in anyway hiding her kidney transplant scar anymore as she shows it off in a new Instagram photo.
The singer underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 after her BFF Francia Raisa stepped in to save her life by volunteering a Kidney for the surgery to be done. (Read here)
Selena revealed that she’s never been confident in showing her kidney transplant scar until now.
She posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit while showing off the scar from the transplant surgery and captioned:
”When I got my kidney transplant, I remember it being very difficult at first showing my scar. I didn’t want it to be in photos, so I wore things that would cover it up. Now, more than ever, I feel confident in who I am and what I went through…and I’m proud of that.”
