Federal Government Of Nigeria Set To Reopen Land Borders

The Federal Government of Nigeria is set to reopen land borders in the country, Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, has revealed.

Speaking with state house correspondents in Abuja on Wednesday, Ahmed said the presidential committee set up on the border closure had recommended reopening.

The federal government had said it shut the borders in August to check smuggling of goods and arms into the country.
