Workers of the National Identity Management Commission have suspended the industrial action.
The workers had embark on an industrial strike on Thursday over the fear of COVID-19 spread in the agency, demanding for better remuneration as well as the provision of personal protective equipment PPEs to protect against COVID19.
The protesting workers met with the Federal Government and resolved to call off their strike action.
They are expected to resume work by Monday, January 11 to continue with the ongoing registration of Nigerians for their National Identity Numbers.
