ALAMA reps the rough streets especially in surulere where he is based. He grew up living a hard-knock life which can be felt in his lyrics and hard core rap style. He is very impressive in delivering freestyle with raw but funny punch-lines. He rolled briefly with “Misofunyi Soldiers” when he was invited by Dagrin who liked his yoruba rap. Jazzman Olofin stumbled upon him in a backyard studio in surulere in 2010 and took him to OJB Jezreel. Jazzman Olofin has been supporting Alama’s career ever since.
